Verve will be teaming up with the Neenah Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade to put on a free outdoor showing of The LEGO Movie! We’ll bring the speakers and giant inflatable screen—you just bring the lawn chairs and little ones.

Our hard-to-miss big screen will be set up on the Southview soccer fields next to Marathon Ave. The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade will be there selling concessions, with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting their organization. The way we see it, you can either drop 50 bucks at the theater, or you can get outdoors, support the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade and see this building-block-blockbuster with us FOR FREE! We’ll start rolling the reels around dusk.

At Verve, we love free events like these because they demonstrate our “Concern for Community,” one of the 7 Cooperative principles, which are like, the LEGO® instructions for running a credit union. Hanging out with our neighbors not only builds community, but it also helps local organizations raise funds so they can keep on saying “everything is awesome!”  Hope to see you at the FREE Verve Outdoor Cinema
