Learn about Neenah’s support of the war effort in the 1940’s from presenter Kara Rothkegel. Civilians mobilized in dramatic and effective ways, supporting troops worldwide. Local industry shifted its focus to what it could make and produce for the United States Armed Forces. Every household adhered to ration cards and were encouraged to plant Victory Gardens. This presentation will give an overview of the numerous ways Neenah and its residents helped win the war.
